Isabella Devinast, Sculptress, Berlin

Steel caught my heart when I was sixteen.
Fourteen years later, I modeled in wax and made my first bronze. In 2010, I added chocolate and acrylic plaster, and in 2017, I discovered clay for myself and further started my first stucco.

In my steel art, I specialise in cylindric cut-out matrix sculptures for parks, entrance halls, even interiors, but mostly gardens and vestibules, partly amplified through colour and leaf gilding.

More Steel

While at boarding school, I went to the blacksmith class and ever since, steel and fire haven’t let me out of their hot and strong hands. Steel is very vivid to me. It has character and warmth.

Bronze is one of the most noble materials in sculpting. The sophisticated exterior transports perfectly a strong soul expression.

Who doesn't admire the splendid interior decorations on walls and ceilings during the Belle Epoque? I definitively do and create my own ones.

Handmade chocolate version to share it with friends having a glass of wine and philosophising about life.
