Every God and every Goddess has a an allocated wood. Summarised:
Anubis: God of doctors and god of the dead and mummification, jackal; ebony.
Sekhmet: Goddess of war, courage and protection from disease, thus also protectress of doctors, lioness; Cedar wood.
Horus: God of light or God of the world, one of the main Gods of ancient Egypt, falcon; striped Ebony.
Selket: healing goddess and magician as well as the protectress of healers, scorpion; Amaranth wood.
Masks can be found in all our cultures. Whether we look to North or South America, Africa, Europe or Oceania, Australia or across Asia: Masks are inherent in our cultural lives.
A mask helps the shaman to call upon the spirits, helps the tribe to connect with the ancestors, or helps the priest to get in touch with God or Goddess. It is said that Anubis priestesses were present during mummifications in Ancient Egypt so that through them, who wore jackal head masks, the god would manifest himself and support the success of the endeavour.
Die Priesterinnen-Serie
Masken sind in allen unseren Kulturen zu finden. Ob wir nun nach Nord- oder Südamerika, Afrika, Europa oder Ozeanien, Australien oder ganz Asien schauen: Masken sind ein fester Bestandteil unseres kulturellen Lebens. Eine Maske hilft dem Schamanen, die Geister anzurufen, hilft dem Stamm, sich mit den Ahnen zu verbinden, oder hilft dem Priester, mit Gott oder der Göttin in Kontakt zu treten. Es heißt, dass Anubis-Priesterinnen bei Mumifizierungen im alten Ägypten anwesend waren, damit sich der Gott durch sie, die Schakalkopfmasken trugen, manifestieren und den Erfolg des Unterfangens unterstützen konnte.
Die Skulpturen sind alle in drei verschiedenen Versionen erhältlich:

V2: Kopf und Sockel aus Bronze, Körper aus Holz
V3: Kopf, Sockel und Kleidsegment aus Bronze, Körper aus Holz.
Jede Version ist auf 8 Stück limitiert.
Jedem Gott und jeder Göttin ist ein Holz zugeordnet.
